The features, explained
Building your playlist
In the Studio you can fill a playlist in several ways. The service decides which of them you can use:
- Import a playlist
- Paste a playlist link. Limits differ per service. Need a higher limit? Contact support.
- AI playlist
- When Bopstarr builds a playlist for you with AI, you can pick this service as the source of the songs.
- Add a song by hand
- Search this service to add one specific song with its link.
- Bulk add songs
- Paste a list of songs; when links are missing, Bopster looks them up on this service automatically.
- Automatic release years
- Bopster fetches the release year for you. Where this isn’t supported, run Yearify to get accurate years.
Bopster Live
Our app to scan the QR codes on your cards, or to play published playlists digitally:
- Scan QR (play via YouTube)
- Scans the link in the QR code, looks up the song and plays it through a YouTube stream. No account needed.
- Scan QR (play directly)
- Plays straight from the service after scanning, without conversion. Needs you to be signed in with an active subscription.
- Chromecast (YouTube mode)
- Sends the converted YouTube link to your Chromecast.
- Chromecast (native mode)
- Streams straight from the service to your Chromecast, skipping the YouTube conversion.
