Thank you for using Bopster, my hobby project has become so huge! :)
I have added a new feature, called Bopster Live: Guess the Year! With Guess The Year you can let everyone in your party guess the year of the song, and optionally guess the song.
Game Mechanics:
1. Player A gets to guess the year, then Player B, C, etc. until the last player. The player closest to the correct year gets 1 point.
2. The player closest to the correct year has the opportunity to guess the song artist or name, it does not need to be exact but has to be in the neighbourhood of the name. If correct, 1 extra point.
3. If the player does not guess correctly, anyone can steal the chance to get a point to also take a chance of guessing the name. If correct, 1 point for that person, otherwise no points awarded for the bonus round.
How to use
1. Enable this Game Mode in the settings of Bopster Live:
Year Guessing Mode is required to be turned on for Bonus Title Guess to work. Bonus Title Guess is optional.
2. Make sure that you have players in your scoreboard.
3. Start your Playlist or scan a card (needs to be a Bopster Enhanced QR code)
4. Reveal the card when everyone's ready. First player can guess the year.
5. Pass on the device to the player requested (optional). That person can guess until the last player is done guessing.
6. The player closest to the correct year gets to guess the song name or artist.
7. Did the player guess incorrectly? Then everyone can steal the opportunity. First one to steal gets to guess the song again for 1 point.
8. Song information is revealed, along with the updated scores.
