The AI Designer in the Bopster Designer has been rebuilt from the ground up. Instead of filling in a form, you simply tell Bopstarr about your party. He suggests the text, the colours and the look of your cards, and then paints a one-of-a-kind card background while you watch.
How the new AI Designer works
Open the Designer and tap the AI button. You step into Bopstarr's studio, where our mascot is waiting at his easel.
- Describe the night. Who is it for, what's the vibe, any names or dates? Write it the way you would tell a friend, for example: "Sophie turns 40 on 14 June. Disco glam, gold and deep purple, lots of glitter." Need inspiration? Tap one of the examples.
- Get Bopstarr's sketch. He proposes a big line and a small line for your card, plus two alternatives, a colour palette, a mood and a font for the song titles. He also describes what he is going to paint.
- Make it yours. Change any line, swap in an alternative, tap a colour to pick another one, or rewrite what he will paint. Nothing is painted until you say so.
- Let him paint. Choose an image model and press Paint my card.
Four AI models to paint with
You decide who holds the brush:
- GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst: the richest detail and the cleanest lettering. It takes a little longer.
- Nano Banana 2.1: quick and crisp, with great typography.
- Qwen Image 2.1: bold and graphic, like a gig poster.
- Grok Imagine 2: vivid and cinematic, and the quickest.
Watch your card being painted
While the AI works, you see the canvas fill up with brush strokes in your own colours, with a pencil sketch of your text underneath. Bopstarr tells you what he is doing, from reading your brief to placing the code and the text. Don't feel like waiting? Tap Keep designing and carry on. The AI button shows the progress and lets you know when your card is ready.
When he is done, you see the result on a real card from your playlist, front and back. Bopstarr has already placed the QR code and the song text where they stand out best, in black or white depending on the artwork. Tap Use this design and the artwork is added to your cards. You can still move and resize everything, and undo takes you straight back.

The AI Designer is a thank-you to everyone who supports Bopster. Donators get 10 credits to start with, and one credit paints one card. Coming up with ideas and sketches is always free.
