Bopster v3 is the biggest update Bopster has had so far. You now build playlists in the new Studio, design printable QR music cards in the new Designer, and find everything you made on your own My Bopster home. Game night itself still happens in Bopster Live.
What's new in Bopster v3 at a glance
- Studio: one place to build, fix and polish your playlist.
- Designer: printable QR music cards with a live preview.
- My Bopster: your drafts, playlists and account settings on one page.
- A fresh look: a redesigned site, a new Library and Bopstarr, our AI DJ.
Studio: build your playlist your way
The Studio gives you four ways to add songs:
- Import a link to a playlist, album or track from Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, Deezer or TIDAL.
- Ask Bopstarr: describe a vibe and he builds the playlist. He only picks songs that really exist, then finds links, years and covers.
- Paste a list with one song per line, or import a CSV, TSV, TXT or XLSX file.
- Add songs by hand, one at a time.
Release years make or break the game, so you can check every song with Yearify straight from the Studio. Before a playlist goes public, a short checklist tells you what still needs a name, a genre, a year or a link. You choose who sees it: only you, anyone with the link, or everyone in the Library. When you're signed in, your drafts are saved automatically while you work.
Designer: printable QR music cards
The Designer replaces the old card generator. Pick one of more than 60 designs or upload your own artwork, then adjust fonts, sizes, colours and where the QR code sits. Every change shows up on the card straight away.
Choose Bopster QR Enhanced to scan your cards in Bopster Live without giving the song away. You can also add a two-page player guide in front of your cards, with how to print, cut and play. It prints as a sheet of its own, so double-sided printing still lines up.

My Bopster: your personal home
Sign in and My Bopster becomes your starting point. Pick up your last draft, start a new playlist, or open any saved playlist to edit it, play it in Bopster Live or print it as cards. You'll also find daily picks from the Library, and your profile and security settings now live here too. Signing in and creating an account happens in a pop-up, so you never lose the page you were on.
A fresh look, with Bopstarr
The whole site got a new design, and Bopstarr, the Bopster DJ, now shows up wherever you need a hand. The Library has hand-picked featured playlists, lets you peek at the songs before you start, and Bopstarr picks one for you if you can't choose. The new app switcher next to the logo also takes you to Karaokster, karaoke on your TV with live lyrics, and Bopster Party, an online song-guessing game with achievements.
Prefer the classic way?
The classic wizard and the classic card generator are still there under Classic in the menu, and your songs come with you when you switch.
Tell us what you think
